Let's have an a-MAY-zing month!

Dear friends,
This May, join Sarah Kane for a series of workshops exploring movement, voice, imagination, and character through the practices of Michael Chekhov and Steiner’s Artistic Speech techniques. Across scene rehearsal sessions and focused workshops, participants are invited to deepen their connection to physical expression, vocal character, and the creative process in performance.

Whether attending a single session or taking part in the full programme, each workshop offers a practical and immersive experience designed to support actors, performers, and anyone interested in developing their artistic practice.

Are you available from Friday May 15- Sunday May 17?
Join Sarah Kane at Rudolf Steiner House, London, for a focused exploration of gestures by discovering how movement and speech can bring text, imagination, and character to life. Through practical scene rehearsal work, we will investigate the connection between physical expression, voice, and inner impulse in performance.

When emotion feels unreachable, the actor can begin with the body because the body is always available.
A Psychological Gesture is not small or realistic. It is simple, strong, and archetypal: a physical action that captures the essence of a character’s inner impulse.
Rather than forcing emotion, the actor allows feeling to emerge through movement. The gesture awakens imagination, sensation, and emotional truth from the outside in.
