Dear friends,
Welcome to the Performing Arts International monthly newsletter! We’re excited to share last month’s highlights and give you a glimpse of what’s ahead in November.
🌟 October Highlights 🌟
We’ve received some amazing feedback from participants in our recent speech courses, calling the content “wonderful,” Sarah Kane a “master teacher,” and sharing that the classes have “opened up a new world” and helped them “understand and trust their body.”
Sarah also spent a few inspiring days in Venice, experiencing the beauty of the city and taking part in a Chekhov Acting Workshop with ItinerisTeatro, a talented collective creating theatre since 1999.
Sarah also travelled to Stuttgart, working with TEFL teachers on exploring the art of teaching, a city she’s always delighted to return to and has visited many times over the years.
🌟 Coming Up In November 🌟
Sarah Kane is running an improvisation workshop in Cologne, Germany. Improvisation challenges us to make offers, accept others’ offers, and listen deeply, both to what’s happening around us and to our own inner impulses.
This workshop draws on Michael Chekhov’s principles of improvisation, helping participants:
Strengthen individual resilience
Live fully in the present moment
Heighten awareness of the world around them
Improvisation is a vital skill for anyone working with children and adolescents, and an invaluable practice for artists seeking to deepen their creative responsiveness.
