A student gives feedback on recent training

Student Sylvie recently undertook module two of "The Epic Year", this is what she had to say about her experience of the training:
"I graduated from the speech training in 2002, and took part in a week-long module of the Epic Year in the current training as a speech refresher. It was a very rich time: the group of regular students were very welcoming and Sarah is a master teacher. She led us us through the week with great skill, warmth and a wealth of experience.
One of the highlights for me was how, through the imaginative building of different sound atmospheres in the space around us, moving out of their different qualities and internalizing those qualities in the body, we came to a strong imaginative experience of sounds as beings. These then could manifest themselves in the living speech. This was an experience of how creative speech and the Chekhov approach can work hand in hand, fructifying each other. I thoroughly recommend it. Thank you!"
