Following are details of forthcoming drop-in classes, and how to book:
Speech for Easter
Starting mid-February (date TBC) Sarah Kane is offering five 75-minute speech sessions over five weeks on the theme of and in preparation for Easter.
We will explore texts to do with the season of growth and fresh colour, of new life, as well as with the life-renewing festival itself, in a variety of styles, serious, light, majestic and inward.
Our aims will be to reconnect to the power and sensitivity of our speaking voice and explore the writings of great and less-known poets in a playful and enlivening way. It might be called a cleansing and invigorating for spring and Easter through the art of speech!
For those unfamiliar with speech work as it is alive and well today, and who would like to get to know it before making a commitment, please feel free to drop in to one of the classes.
Peredur Centre, East Grinstead
Suggested contribution: £55 for all five sessions, or £12 per individual session.
For further information and to express any kind of interest, either to drop in once or join all five sessions or anything in between, please either email Sarah Kane at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time or call 01342-824161 or 07772-091429
